The negotiations will take place on:
- Round I: Tuesday, August 16
- Round II: Monday, September 1
- Round III: Tuesday, September 9.
In the meantime, joint member meetings have also been held in Geleen and Zwolle (and Hoek van Holland?)
The meeting for Waalwijk will take place on 21 August from 12:00 a.m. in Building 35 (Fire Station). You are cordially invited.
Unfortunately, John Kapteijn, our advocate at Covestro, cannot be present. Attending the meeting is important because it provides an opportunity to discuss the considerations regarding the various proposals.
If you're unable to attend, please let John know what you're thinking. We'd love to hear your ideas, suggestions, and advice regarding changes or improvements you'd like to see implemented in our terms and conditions of employment.
Where is the priority? What is important? What is the lower limit and how far do you want to go?
What should the upcoming negotiations focus on? What are the priorities, what is sacred, and what is open to discussion?
Compared to 2024, is Covestro doing better, the same, or perhaps worse?
Send your response to john.kapteijn@unie.nl with the subject: Covestro – collective labor agreement 2025-2026 – input or otherwise feel free to contact our executive member Raymond Verhoeven or one of the other executive members.
