After a long wait, the new one is dog there finally. The collective labor agreement regulates the employment conditions for employees in contract catering, hospitality and inflight. The collective labor agreement texts have been reported to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment to be declared generally binding.

Retirement

From 2e The Chamber has just finished discussing the Cabinet's new pension law. There were several hundred questions and answers surrounding the bill. Now it is up to the political parties to vote on it. You can find this and other pension matters on the website of employers, government and trade unions.

Specifically for employees in contract catering, there is a pension message from the pension fund Horeca & Catering. From 1 January 2023 you accrue less pension. The accrual will be 1,47% per year, where it was 1,51% in recent years. Nothing will change for all the accrued pensions and benefits. You can read more about this here.

RVU

Since the start of the Early Retirement Scheme (RVU) in April 2021, 331 employees have applied for the RVU. After a check on the conditions and required documents, 2022 applications for the RVU have been approved up to and including October 157.

Monthly reports show that the number of applications is falling sharply. It is unclear what causes this. One reason may be that employees are not enthusiastic about the RVU. The parties to the collective labor agreement have promised to pay extra attention to the scheme in their communications. Hereby. on this website you can find out everything about the RVU.

Generation pact

One of the agreements in the new collective labor agreement is a generation pact scheme, also known as the 80-90-100 scheme. It turned out that much more had to be researched and coordinated than we had previously thought. The scheme is intended for employees in the B section Hospitality and the Infligth. Employers and employees make the generation scheme possible together by putting in leave and money. The parties to the collective labor agreement are working on the final legal matters surrounding the scheme. We expect that the scheme can start on April 1, 2023 and then run parallel to the collective labor agreement term until April 1, 2024.

Leave savings

A protocol agreement has been made in the collective labor agreement about the exploration of the possibilities for setting up a leave savings scheme. The parties to the collective labor agreement have investigated this and have come to the conclusion that the only option so far is to save leave at one's own company.
