CBR: Collective labor agreement negotiations to start soon

February 02 2023

Last week we informally exchanged ideas with the management about the process of arriving at a good collective labor agreement for the employees. Unfortunately, the full results of the survey were not yet known. We do know that this has been filled in en masse. Thank you very much for this. The report on the results of the survey should be ready by 16 February. On this day we are going to talk about this as the start of the negotiations. What do the outcomes look like and how can we use these outcomes in the negotiations. We are not yet going to submit a formal proposal letter. On the one hand, we first need the input from the survey, but above all we need the input from our members.

Join now De Unie. You can do that from €0!

I, Gerard van der Lit (representative) have now been to two locations to collect that input. These were good meetings where we received a lot of input about the wishes of our colleagues. One of the executives was also present at each meeting. We also received good feedback about the process and the communication about it. We will communicate more intensively to keep you informed through these types of newsletters.

We would also be happy to visit your location. The more input, the more prepared we will be in the negotiations. Do not hesitate to contact me or one of the executives. I really like to visit and as far as we are concerned everyone is welcome, member or not De Unie. Ultimately, however, it is the members who approve the letter of proposals and any negotiation result. If you can convince a colleague to also become a member, the first year this is paid for by the employers, you will receive a bol.com gift voucher worth € 12,50. The more members we have, the stronger we are in the negotiations. So a win-win situation.

There are now 4 consultation dates planned; February 16, April 11, May 30 and June 21, 2023. There is sometimes quite a while between the consultations. We want that as De Unie use to catch up and ask for your opinion.

If a colleague wants to become a member, this colleague can go to https://www.unie.nl/cbr to go. Then choose the Complete membership. The contribution is paid by CBR. As a new member you also have voting rights.

If you want us to visit you on location, or if you have any other questions or comments, I would love to hear from you gerard.van.der.lit@unie.nl.
