The collective labor agreement negotiations will start on 6 October 2022. Prior to the negotiations, De Unie a proposal letter. We do this in consultation with the members. Here you can read the draft proposal letter. I, advocate Inge de Vries, am of course curious whether you agree with this.

Your input
At the beginning of this month I asked to provide input for the proposal letter. Many members responded to this. The main point is that the financial section is the most important at the moment. This is also reflected in the proposal letter.
There were also many other proposals that I have not now adopted. In the negotiations in the financial sector, we see that the consultations are narrowing down to negotiations about the salary increase. All other topics are currently off the negotiating table because trade unions on the one hand and employers on the other are too far apart.
This doesn't mean I don't include the input. If employers come up with proposals that match signals I receive from members, I will of course respond positively. There is also room in the proposal letter to make additional proposals during the negotiations.
Opinion
The members received an invitation to give their opinion on the draft proposal letter. This is possible until Friday, September 30, 2022. In principle, we will publish the proposal letter on Monday 3 October.
