With you I want to break this trend

The fewer women you see on the shop floor or in the field, the fewer women want to work there. (This seems to have been investigated once.) It is said: women attract women. You can help me with that if you want.

Women make money

The following qualities are seen as typical female qualities and highly praised: being able to empathize with the customer, planning and coordinating effectively and working together. This literally generates money for the organization where you work.

Staff should be a reflection of society

That is certainly not the case in your sector! Only a few percent and then often also in the typical women's professions (office, facility and the like). However, the number of women behind the wheel has been growing steadily lately. But the overall trend is that a lot of potential remains lost and talent is not used.

Are the working conditions correct?

What wishes do you have and what are you running into? Are people flexible enough at work, do you feel safe in this “man's world”?

How can you help?

By the survey here filling in will help you a lot. Ask your female colleagues to complete this survey as well. The parties to the collective labor agreement have agreed to take measures in the collective labor agreement for 2024 to improve the image and visibility of the sector. The theme of recruitment and retention of personnel will also receive a great deal of attention. With the results of this survey, among other things, we want to make the wishes of women at the collective bargaining table visible.

Completing the survey takes as short, or as long as you want. No question is mandatory to fill in.

For questions or comments, please contact the representative Edith Werger at edith.werger@unie.nl or call 06-5252 2054.
