On December 27, 2022, I, Hans Korver (representative), informed you in a newsletter that Albert Heijn had contacted us to start negotiations about the Collective Labor Agreement for Retail Management. The first day of negotiations was scheduled for Thursday, January 26, 2023.
Negotiations postponed
In the newsletter of December 27, 2022, I asked the members to express your wishes for a new collective labor agreement. Some of our members have done the same. So I know what the important points for the upcoming negotiations are for the Members.
On January 25, Albert Heijn informed us that it wanted to postpone the negotiations until after the summer. Albert Heijn currently has a limited number of topics to discuss. Your employer wants to update the NFKS system (the classifications of shops based on turnover). She wants to include this in the discussions for the next collective labor agreement. Albert Heijn has indicated that it wants to develop a proposal for this first.
Next step?
This means that we will not start negotiations for the Collective Labor Agreement for Retail Management for the time being. As soon as I know when we will start, I will inform the members.
