What preceded it
The UWV's final offer isn't unexpected. The UWV has already made a final offer. De Unie and the other unions conducted a short survey among all UWV employees about this final offer. Seventy percent of respondents indicated they would likely reject the previous final offer in a vote. This prompted UWV to withdraw the first final offer and issue a new one.
What has changed?
- The structural salary increase has been increased from 2,75% to 3,25%
- The term of the new proposal will be extended by two months. Any subsequent collective bargaining agreement increase will therefore take effect no earlier than June 1, 2026.
- The final offer now includes an ultimatum under the heading Validity of Final Offer.
UWV practices, which De Unie This is putting undue pressure on our members. The UWV "warns" that rejecting this final offer will result in no structural salary increase and no lump-sum payment. The UWV states that they will be forced to deny employees a salary increase and a lump-sum payment if the final offer is rejected.
