The current CLA Tata Steel Social Unit IJmuiden runs until September 30, 2023. Negotiations for the new CLA would therefore start on September 5, 2023. Based on the input of our members, we were already busy preparing our letter of proposals for the new collective labor agreement. However, the employer has now made a bid for the new collective labor agreement, which leaves no room for negotiation.

I have discussed the content of the collective labor agreement with our group of executives and with our employment conditions coordinator. We have decided to put Tata Steel's offer to the vote of our members.

You can read the collective labor agreement offer of the employer here. We will then first present this result to the members of the trade unions. The members with a Complete or Extra membership ultimately determine whether we have a deal or not.
