The wage proposal took into account developments within PGGM, the social and economic context, and, in particular, what our members consider a minimum fair wage. This has led to a wage demand of 6%, which we intend to start negotiations with.
PGGM proposals
Here You'll find the employer's proposals for entering negotiations. It's striking that they don't include a wage offer. We assumed the employer would make an opening offer during his explanation, but that didn't happen. The employer indicated that he would present a realistic wage proposal on Wednesday, October 22nd.
Process
First, the employer reviewed the unions' letters of intent and was given the opportunity to ask in-depth questions. Then, the roles were reversed, and the unions discussed the employer's proposal letter. The employer indicated that it could not yet make a wage offer and wanted to consider our explanations first. An agreement was reached with the employer to present a comprehensive proposal, including a wage offer, on October 22nd.

The unions and the employer have jointly agreed to resume consultations on the 22nd, in conjunction with all proposals, as previously scheduled.
