The sale of the Europoort terminal was widely discussed, as the news had just been announced. All the staff involved will be transferring to Agrofert. This means the terminal will at least be in the hands of a competitor.
In addition De Unie – as far as possible – updated on the issues at Fibrant and the effects on OCI's business operations.
The results of the member consultations of the four employee organizations involved were discussed. There is certainly no unanimous outcome, and this places a significant burden on the consultations, which are expected to resume in the first half of 2026.
Finally, the adjustment to the ICIN Performance Management process was discussed. OCI employees were already extensively informed about this in a Memo dated February 24, 2025. The current situation is that the system in use deviates from what is described in the collective labor agreement. The Works Council has also addressed this. The old system is said to be "outdated." Therefore, there are high expectations for the new process. Consultations on this matter will follow.
An ongoing process is to modernize the collective labor agreement text and the applicability of the social plan to the Management Group. OCI will take the initiative in this regard.
The central (chemical process industry) outcome regarding the continuation of the RVU is not yet known. The question remains: how will we shape the future?
There will be another online meeting on the topic of RAU. OCI will also initiate this meeting.
