This meeting will provide further clarification on the negotiations with Nouryon regarding the new collective labor agreement effective January 1, 2026. We will then discuss Nouryon's final collective labor agreement offer. You can download the full final offer here .
Preface
After 4 negotiation talks between Nouryon, De Unie and the fellow unions, the conclusion has been reached that further negotiations will not lead to further progress. The negotiations have now ended, and Nouryon has submitted a final collective bargaining agreement offer. A final offer means that it is the maximum Nouryon has to offer.
The qualifying final offer also means that De Unie We are not (entirely) satisfied with what Nouryon has offered on a number of points we proposed. Therefore, we cannot speak of a negotiated outcome.
Below are some key points from the final offer:
The salary and the term
The proposed pay increase is €1.650, with a minimum of 2%. We would have liked to have agreed to at least maintain purchasing power (3,1%) for all employees. This is also a significant reason why we cannot consider this a collective bargaining agreement negotiation outcome.

Furthermore, a longer term might have been desirable in view of a longer duration of the social plan, but the salary offered was, in our view, insufficient.
Social plan
We are pleased with the extension of the current social plan. This extension is by one year because Nouryon wants the social plan to align with the collective labor agreement. In addition to some procedural and textual amendments, the social plan is also being revised on one substantive point: the maximum severance payment is €200.000.
W
The current WGA premium deducted from net wages will no longer be deducted in 2026. This results in a net benefit that varies (depending on your pay scale) from €31 to €17 per month.
80/90/90
The 80/90/100 arrangement will remain, but in a slimmed-down form: 80/90/90. Unfortunately, the slimmed-down arrangement has remained a non-negotiable for securing employees under the former collective labor agreement II.
Remaining appointments
We have made an agreement about making one public holiday (Ascension Day) more flexible.
Furthermore, there will be the option to utilize the scope of the Work Costs Scheme (WKR). The WKR offers the option of reimbursing certain expenses tax-free. Employees will then have access to a platform that allows them to take advantage of attractive benefits such as the bicycle plan and gym memberships. Other options offered by the platform are also being explored, for example, using the WKR to pay off part of student debt.
Voting on the final bid
From now on, members with a Full or Extra membership can cast their vote and indicate whether they support or oppose the final offer. You can also do this after the explanation at the members' meeting on October 8th. Voting is possible until November 4th.
