This meeting will provide further clarification on the negotiations with Nobian regarding the new collective labor agreement effective January 1, 2026. We can then discuss Nobian's final collective labor agreement offer. You can download the full final offer here .
Preface
After three negotiation talks on 24 and 30 September and 1 October 2025 between Nobian, De Unie and the fellow unions have concluded that further negotiations will not lead to further progress. Negotiations have ended, and Nobian, as we informed members last week, submitted a final collective bargaining agreement offer on October 1st.
A final offer means that it is the maximum that Nobian has to offer. The qualifying final offer also means that De Unie We are not (entirely) satisfied with what Nobian has offered on a number of points we proposed. Therefore, we cannot speak of a negotiated outcome.
Below are some key points from the final offer:
The salary and the term
It quickly became apparent that a 12-month term would have meant virtually nothing would have been possible. Nobian indicated that the 2026 contract was very limited, but that they did see opportunities to offer more in 2027. The term in the final offer is therefore 24 months, with a 1% salary increase in 2026, followed by a 3% increase in 2027.
In addition, Nobian is offering a one-time payment of €750 in January 2027, a shift allowance increase to 30%, a performance-related payment for 2026 and 2027 for collective labor agreement 1, and a structural increase in the STI (starting with the 2026 result) from 2,5% to 12,5%. For employees with a rating of "On track" (or higher), this STI increase means a 0,5% increase in the annual payment (20% x 2,5%).
Social plan
We are certainly pleased with the unchanged extension of the current social plan by two years.
80/90/100
Unfortunately, it was not possible to extend the scheme to collective labour agreement 2.
Finally
Given the company's economic outlook, particularly in 2026, we believe the choice of a two-year collective bargaining agreement is justifiable, especially since the social plan will also be extended for the same period.
Voting on the final bid
From now on, members with a Complete or Extra membership can cast their vote and indicate whether they support or reject the final offer. This can also be done after the explanation during the MS Teams members' meeting on October 21st. Voting is open until October 30, 2025.
