The new collective labour agreement at Nationale-Nederlanden has been in effect since the beginning of this year, and the final texts have now also been published. A good moment to reflect.

Report periodic consultation
On April 23, 2026 De Unie We have held consultations with NN. We regularly discuss the state of affairs at NN and work out collective labor agreement arrangements. De Unie can therefore raise questions from members.
Implementation of collective labor agreements
Raise entry-level salary scales
The increase in the entry level of the salary scales from 70% to 75% of the scale maximum has been implemented effective May 1, 2026.
Career check
We are almost finished working out the agreement to offer a career check to NN employees.
Regulations regarding the objection and appeal procedure for job evaluation
The parties to the collective labor agreement have already found common ground on many points. Given NN’s intention to add sub-families to the job structure, it is important that the trade unions on the one hand and the employer on the other reach agreement on the entire regulation.
Paying off student debt
You belong to the target group of this scheme if you meet the following conditions: you studied between September 2015 and August 2023 without a basic grant and you have been employed by NN for more than a year. You can exchange up to a maximum of €1.500 per year in a tax-friendly manner to repay your student debt.
This new collective labor agreement is accessible to the target group as of May 1, as agreed.
New developments
Several members have asked me whether NN is willing to increase the mileage allowance. I raised this question during the periodic meeting, and NN will respond to this.
The insourcing of NNVS will likely be formalized as of November 1, 2026. The employees will receive a workspace in NN offices as early as this summer. In May, De Unie Consultation with NN regarding the employment conditions of the employees transferring.
And then a general appeal
The trade union federation for professionals, the VCP, has launched a petition to protest against this cabinet's austerity plans for social security. De Unie is a member of the VCP. You can support this protest by this VCP launches petition for preservation of social security and a fair pension – VCP to draw.
