Recently has De Unie our members informed about the positive outcome of the member consultation of De Unie regarding the negotiation result for a new Metal and Technology CLA. The outcome of the member consultation with the other trade unions and employers is now also known. This is also positive. Consequently, there is now a definitive agreement on the new Metal and Technology CLA. This CLA entered into force on February 1, 2026, and is valid until January 31, 2028.

Secondary Education Elections PMT
Through this message, we would like to draw attention once again to the previously by De Unie announced elections for the Accountability Body of PMT (Pensioenfonds Metaal en Techniek). We have asked our members to register as candidates for these elections.
Based on the responses, our member, Mr. Ruud Buikstra, has now registered as a candidate on behalf of De Unie at PMT for the upcoming elections for the Accountability Body. We thank him for declaring himself willing to perform this task on behalf of the members of De Unie to take upon oneself.
To vote
We hope that Ruud receives enough votes to be elected and thus be able to represent the interests of our members on the accountability body. Therefore, we have asked our members to vote for him. You can do so from March 23 to April 4, 2026. A message from PMT regarding how to vote will follow.
