Preparation of collective bargaining
At the end of 2024, a two-year collective labour agreement (2025-2026) was agreed upon. The first half of the term was dedicated to the elaboration of the agreements. The focus is now on preparing for the next negotiations. Therefore, advocacy group Inge de Vries has already launched a survey on relevant topics twice in recent months. A third survey will follow later this month. The negotiations will start in September 2026. The final scheduled meeting will take place on December 7, 2026. The parties to the collective labour agreement aim to reach a negotiation result by that date that can be presented to the members.
Reorganisations
Many members have contacted us with questions regarding the reorganization that applies to them. Our legal department has already been involved in this on several occasions. It is valuable to be able to support our members in this way during uncertain times.
A new reorganization has recently been announced. As a result, over 70 positions will be eliminated at COO FCP Operations. The request for advice regarding this reorganization states that the employees to be made redundant will be determined by means of a mirroring process. It is also indicated that further downsizing is expected for this department in the future. The Learning Account, or an alternative thereto, could be of great importance for this situation.
