Wage and term

In the first round of negotiations, we missed the offer regarding wages and duration in the employers' position letter. In the second round, this was put on the table at our request. It concerns a duration of 20 months with collective wage increases of 2,5% as of October 1, 2026, and 2,25% as of October 1, 2027.

disability and pension

We previously learned from the SBZ pension fund that Achmea Pensioen Services will no longer administer the current scheme as of 2027. The social partners must therefore reach agreements regarding a new scheme and the administrator in this negotiation process. Pension advisor AON is supporting the CLA parties in this, as the schemes involved are complex. Since we have to create a new scheme anyway, we are also exploring other terms and conditions and premium (distribution). In the upcoming round, we will discuss new quotations, standard calculations, process planning & timeline, and the starting points of the CLA parties. I will get back to you on this after the next round of negotiations.

Diversity Day

The employers have proposed that Good Friday, as a Christian holiday, may be exchanged (under certain conditions) for a holiday of choice, depending on individual religious beliefs. This is a good option in itself, although the trade unions have made a few suggestions to facilitate its actual implementation. The employers will look into this and report back to us during the upcoming round of negotiations.

Informal care

In the current collective labour agreement, the employers have committed to implementing the first phase of obtaining the 'caregiver-friendly organization' designation. Logically, the second phase now follows, in which the arrangements and possibilities for caregivers are made clear in order to enable them to combine work and caregiving. In addition, the trade unions would like to see examples of good tailor-made agreements with health insurers included on the agenda of a quarterly meeting.

Other points

Furthermore, we discussed a reservist scheme, which the employers are considering. The employers agree to our proposal for the extension of scheme 3.e Unemployment benefit year (PAWW). Unfortunately, they do not want to discuss an 80/90/100 scheme further to reach the finish line fit. They do want to go over the options in the sabbatical scheme with us regarding this. So, to be continued.
