Ebert HERA is sticking to a final offer without a wage increase. The employer has reiterated this. In doing so, the employer is rejecting the unions' final offer. De Unie, CNV, FNV and Synergo-VHP are being turned aside. Last Friday, April 17, 2026, the final ultimatum from FNV also expired. With this, at the request of the members, we are entering a course of action.

Since the May holidays have now started and many employees are on a well-deserved vacation, we will postpone the promotions for a little while.
Arrogant attitude
That does not mean we are doing nothing yet. The employer downplays the willingness to take action among the members and responds laconically, even arrogantly. The employer assumes that the employees will not take action anyway. We will therefore have to show the employer that these are not empty threats and that the employees have really had enough.
Petition
To remind the employer once again that many people find the final offer unacceptable, we will launch a petition. This petition can be signed by all Ebert HERA employees, members and non-members alike. Use the petition to show that you stand behind the unions.

Enough is enough
We will present the petition to the management later. In doing so, we want to show the employer once again that the employees are truly fed up. That it is not just a small group that has no understanding of the final offer, but that the employees have also had enough of the way the employer treats the staff.
What is at stake?
The employees have made it clear that they have no understanding of the employer's wage freeze. Ebert HERA had a banner year financially last year. Yet the employer does not want to grant a wage increase. Ebert HERA is keeping a tight grip on the purse strings because it expects a difficult 2026. 2026 will also be a difficult year for the employees, as inflation is rising again. A wage increase is therefore at the very least appropriate, but the employer only wants to give a raise to a small group. Who? That is unclear.
Vigor
We will step up our actions after the May holidays. We still hope that the employer will come to their senses and listen to the employees' wishes. In that case, actions will not be necessary, but if the employer lets it come to that, it is up to the employees. Then we must show decisiveness. We will keep everyone informed.

And then a general appeal
The trade union federation for professionals, the VCP, has launched a petition to protest against this cabinet's austerity plans for social security. De Unie is a member of the VCP. You can support this protest by this online petition to draw.
