In that message you could read that dsm-firmenich a final offer has made. A final offer is a unilateral offer from the employer. In this case, the gap between what the employer was willing to agree to and what we proposed is too great. Therefore, we do not speak of a negotiated outcome.
To achieve a negotiating result with us, the employer's wage offer should have been higher and awarded on January 1, 2026.
So, we would have liked to agree on a higher wage offer. However, based on the key figures from the CPB (Central Planning Bureau), the currently proposed 3,4% still leads to a (modest) 0,5% improvement in purchasing power in 2026. We consider the extension of the social plan's term to March 31, 2027, a positive aspect of the final offer.
We will now put this final offer to the vote of members with a Full or Extra membership. The final members' meeting is scheduled for January 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Maastricht.
Members have received an invitation to vote. They can vote until no later than January 14, 2026.
