We were therefore unpleasantly surprised when round III (and the possible round IV) was cancelled by dsm-firmenich on Monday afternoon (24 November 2025).
To explain the postponement of collective labor agreement negotiations
Although DSM-Firmenich has consistently stated its intention to quickly reach the core of the negotiations for the 2025-2026 collective labor agreement, the current situation unfortunately necessitates a pause. This gives DSM-Firmenich the opportunity to carefully coordinate matters before proceeding.
So much for the cryptic explanation. That's why the meetings on November 25th and December 1st have been canceled. The employer will schedule new dates with us and keep us updated.
DSM-Firmenich thanks us for your understanding. Despite this delay, the employer remains committed to constructive discussions and a positive outcome!
Consultation is difficult to enforce, especially when you expect a certain level of quality. Patience is a virtue, and dsm-firmenich is now appealing to it for compelling reasons.
