dsm-firmenich: collective labor agreement 2026 – Negotiations have started

October 22, 2025

In September 2025, advocacy group John Kapteijn asked members for input on the upcoming negotiations for the 2026 collective labor agreement. The response exceeded expectations, which was greatly appreciated, not only because of the sheer volume of responses but also because of their content. This allowed them to determine where the focus should be.

Meanwhile, the employer has also completed a reasonably well-attended tour of the country. It's remarkable to see that the results of our survey and the data collected from the employer's tour don't differ much.

Here You'll find the proposals we entered into negotiations with. If you're missing anything, please let me know. Furthermore, I will address matters related to Sustainable Employability, Company AOW/RVU, Relief Measures, Stress, and other related matters together.

The proposals from dsm-firmenich have already been shared by the employer through internal channels.

During the first round on Monday, October 20, 2025, questions were asked, comments were made, and clarifications were provided. The atmosphere was good.

In Round II on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Mr. Joris de Beer will elaborate on the current state of affairs of the company and developments in the Netherlands.

Finally, agreements have been made about communication.

What do you think of the employer's proposals? Let the advocate know—all feedback is welcome!
