We've received a tremendous amount of valuable feedback from everyone. Your perspectives on the organization and suggestions for our efforts have strengthened our negotiating position. Thank you for all of this!

Steef Bilars responds personally to every message, this may take a while due to the number of responses.

Project completion bonus

On October 2, 2025, Aegon announced that a "Project Completion Bonus" had been agreed upon with the CC/GTS works council. The bonus is intended to encourage employees to stay with Aegon during these uncertain times.

This bonus applies to everyone affected by the potential relocation, subject to certain conditions. For the full message and terms and conditions, please refer to the intranet or contact HR.

The CC/GTS works council has strongly advocated for this. We will remain in close contact with them during the negotiations.

Aegon proposals

In the previous The message lists the themes on which Aegon intends to make proposals. It is now clear which specific topics Aegon intends to discuss. Click here for the current social plan so that you can place the proposals.

Current social plan

  • Possible expansion (in a positive sense) of the conditions for personal budgets.
The personal budget is awarded to you if you become redundant. See 4.2.1 social plan.
  • Exploring the calculation of the monthly salary. The monthly salary in the current social plan is calculated based on the thirteenth month salary plus holiday allowance (=16,33%). See 4.2.1 of the social plan.
  • Exploring the determination of number of years of service.
The years of service under the current social plan are determined in increments of 0.5 years. See 6. Definitions, social plan.

Magnolia social plan

Magnolia refers to the possible relocation of the headquarters. Aegon wants to discuss a separate social plan to mitigate and mitigate the consequences of this relocation as much as possible. This plan includes several key areas, such as outplacement (from work to work), training, and attention to vulnerable groups. Discuss whether any agreements for senior management can also be included in Magnolia.

Our commitment

We want to be careful not to reveal our cards before we respond to Aegon on Monday. That's why we've been discreet about our actions thus far.

Let there be no misunderstanding: We know that Aegon has the financial wind at its back. In your Aegon's potential relocation is presented positively in a fair-weather report from Lard Friese. The hundreds of employees affected will likely see it differently.

The responses show high expectations for Aegon to ensure a smooth potential transition. Costs appear to be secondary to the benefits Aegon sees in a new corporate structure. The responses received align well with our commitment to the negotiations.

Continuation

We will respond to Aegon's proposals on Monday, October 6th. A message will follow by Tuesday, October 7th, with an overview of the proposals and the current status.

Besides the main topics, we also pay attention to urgent cases. We are committed to a generous plan that leaves no one behind. Where head office employees receive clarity about the potential relocation and receive generous compensation. And where Aegon Asset Management employees are guaranteed a strong social plan for years to come.

CLA commitment

We understand that the collective bargaining agreement negotiations are being overshadowed by the social plan. We hereby once again call on everyone to share their opinions and suggestions for the collective bargaining agreement process. here about the themes for a new collective labor agreement.
