Last week, the unions and ABN AMRO held consultations regarding the social plan. In two positive meetings, we agreed to extend the social plan unchanged for three years. Members have two weeks to cast their vote!

Why renew?
The existing social plan is working well, so extending it unchanged was our top priority. There were indications that the social plan will expire in July 2026. Numerous reorganizations are already underway, and employees are wondering which social plan will apply after July 1, 2026. We have now agreed with the bank that the current social plan will be continued unchanged for a period of three years. The new expiration date is July 1, 2029. This means confidence in a solid safety net in uncertain times. We are very pleased with this!
What are the main points of the social plan?
- Calculation of severance pay: salary basis × years of service × factor 2,3.
- Access to career checks, assessments and action plans via Talent2Grow.
- Minimum 3 months notice period.
- Choice: severance pay or participation in the Mobility Organisation.
- Additional months of salary, with a maximum and capping on the AOW date.
- Duration of mobility organisation: maximum 6 months of guidance.
- Additional mobility budget €2.000.
- Priority for internal vacancies with equal suitability.
- Travel time for change of station max. 90 minutes one way.
