Phillips come across the bridge!

In the letter we set out our final offer to Philips. In the reactions to the “new” proposal from Philips, our members were very clear: the new offer with which Philips wants to revive the negotiations is absolutely insufficient basis for the members for further negotiations. The collective labor agreement process is taking too long, it is now high time for Philips to step up.

Wage demand

In their responses to both the final offer and the "new" offer of Philips, our members are asking for a more balanced wage increase: not a bid that only refers to the situation Philips finds itself in, but one that also recognizes the consequences of high inflation for employees. The other elements such as travel expenses and a broad RVU scheme also make our final offer a well-considered integral proposal.

It is now up to Philips: it accepts our final offer or not.

Philips still has goodwill among its employees, but the limits of this are clearly coming into view. Due to a combination of high work pressure and job insecurity, a large number of employees are walking on their gums. Our call to Philips is: treat your employees with respect and appreciation, and close a suitable deal with us!

Get to work

If Philips does not agree, the time for talking to the employer is over.

We will then quickly invite the paying members to so-called 3/4 (action) meetings. In those physical meetings, 3/4 of the members present (and at least ¼ of the total number of members) must agree to take some form of action. This form is determined in close consultation with the paying members.
