CED: Final offer collective agreement

March 02 2022

A while ago we updated you in a members meeting about the final offer that CED made. Then we went into consultation. There have been a few adjustments compared to the previous final offer. You can here read the text of the final offer.

Salary increase for a three-year collective labor agreement

The final offer is based on a term of three years. We see a lower increase in the second and third years. That's uncertain because we don't know what it will look like in the coming years and we don't know what inflation will do. We would have liked to see this higher. We have now agreed the following for this: In view of the development of inflation, the parties agree that, at the request of the unions, they will consult with each other in September 2023 and September 2024 whether the CLA increases in 2023 and 2024 need to be adjusted. If that were the case, CED's business results would of course also play a role.

Evening and night shifts, age limit 24/7

We also discussed this and the following addition has been made: In the short term, CED will investigate the possibility of providing 24/7 services in a different, but also adequate and efficient manner. If this is a realistic possibility, the parties will discuss the possible (re)adjustment of the age limits.

RVU

The texts were not clear on this subject. We have now made a clear agreement. CED includes this arrangement in the collective labor agreement. Any employee who complies with the basic principles can make use of this scheme, unless there are compelling business interests that oppose it.

Member meeting

Op Monday 7 March between 19.00 and 20.00 the representative will organize an online members meeting to discuss the final offer with you.

Members have been invited to register.

Cast your vote

Last time CED indicated that it is and that they have made their last offer. We were far apart on some points. In the conversation that followed, a few adjustments were made, as you can read above. We would have liked the salary to be higher, but CED has indicated that this is really it. Now it's up to the members!

Members can cast their vote until Thursday, March 10, 12.00 noon.

If you have any questions, you can email the representative at harma.pethke@unie.nl
