The SABIC group is active in the Netherlands in Limburg (Geleen and Sittard) and in North Brabant (Bergen op Zoom and Raamsdonkveer) and has two different collective labor agreements. One for SABIC LBV (Limburg) and one for SABIC IP (North Brabant). There is a natural urge from within the group to achieve uniform employment conditions within the Netherlands. Then it is important that your union responds to this and can also properly oversee both playing fields. And of course loves De Unie take into account the history of both companies: after all, your future is also determined by your history.
Promotes leading and guiding De Unie the interests of a large group of employees, both on site and in the head office. During the WIN period, many members were helped to great satisfaction on an individual basis. In recent years, the efforts and results of collective bargaining have been closely related. And that is important because promising is one thing, delivering something else. But not with De Unie!
At SABIC LBV, 13 executives are active for De Unie, working in both Geleen and Sittard. In the factory and in the day shift. Covered by the collective labor agreement and Exempts. In short, a cross-section of the organization. So there is always at least one executive who can help us with any kind of issue that concerns YOU. These executives form the BedrijfsMedenGroep (BLG). Chairman of the BLG is currently Pascal Pecasse.
De Unie is there for it all employees within SABIC IP. However, we want all facets of the company to be taken into account in the decisions to be taken. The reality is that at the moment the interests and needs of some of the staff (roughly gone day shift population, both covered by the collective labor agreement as Exempts) are insufficiently or not at all looked after. Your interests and those of your colleagues receive less or no attention. Simply because you are not making a collective fist.
