De Unie at Philips

In addition to negotiating the Philips collective agreement, De Unie holds regular meetings with Philips. These take place on average five times a year. The same applies to meetings with the Philips Central Works Council. Furthermore, De Unie represents the collective and individual interests of its members during reorganisations and when parts of Philips are transferred to another party.

What's going on at Philips

The current collective labour agreement for Philips expires on 1 July. We are currently making preparations by gathering input from members for our proposals letter for a new collective labour agreement. New collective labour agreement negotiations will commence from the end of May. Furthermore, Philips has been undergoing regular reorganisations in recent years. There is unrest among the staff due to uncertainty about the future of employees at Philips.
