De Unie, in your interest

ING

De Unie is the largest trade union in the financial services sector. Many of your ING colleagues have already joined. This is so that we can stand stronger together in collective agreement negotiations. But also to take advantage of the many personal benefits, such as legal support.

Join De Unie!

Working at ING means working for an organisation that is constantly on the move. This has advantages: innovation is necessary to move forward and offers opportunities and prospects. At the same time, this continuous movement also brings a lot of uncertainty. Announced reorganisations mean many ING employees risk losing their jobs. For those who remain, the pressure increases. In short, job and income stability is no longer a given.

Wage negotiations in September

From September, we will be negotiating your employment terms with ING. Amongst other things, we will focus on questions such as: how do ING employees see their contribution to success translated into financial reward? And how can they prepare well for their next step, either within or outside of ING. The policy around outsourcing is also explicitly on our agenda. The retention of ING jobs in the Netherlands is of great importance to employees.

Why join De Unie?

The topics we address are decided together with our members. Through targeted surveys, we ask for input on what's important and where the priorities lie. Furthermore, we keep our members systematically informed about the monthly meetings with ING. We also maintain close contact during negotiations: members contribute their thoughts and help determine the direction. This way, we ensure that our proposals align with what's truly happening on the shop floor. Your opinion is our commitment!

It's always nice to have someone backing you.

As a member of De Unie, you can also count on personalised support. For example, if you find yourself affected by a reorganisation. Do you have any questions about your position, the redundancy plan or the implications for your role? Our legal advisers are here to help. They offer a fast, expert and independent service.
