De Unie has been active in the housing corporations sector for years and is a party to the Collective Labor Agreement for Housing Services. For the 24.000 employees working in some 400 housing corporations, we conclude a collective labor agreement for housing services with employers' organization Aedes. The advocate of De Unie sits on the board of the Fund Learning and Development Housing Corporations, FLOW. Among other things, FLOW is an important player in the personal career development budget.
Leading in the Collective Labor Agreement for Housing Services is the way in which career development is shaped. The collectively funded Career Guide has been developed for the career orientation of employees, linked to the individual right of the employee to a career development budget of 4.500 euros (see chapter 10 of the collective labor agreement).
The pensions in the sector are administered by the Stichting Pensioenfonds voor de Woningcorporaties (SPW), located in Amsterdam. More information about SPW can be found at www.spw.nl. The foundation is managed by a board of six people: three are appointed by the employers and three by the trade unions. Martijn Raaijmakers is on behalf of De Unie on the board of SPW.
