The new wage offer from employers is 3,2%. De Unie has indicated that it will not participate. On Monday 26 September we will negotiate again about the structural wage increase.
CLA negotiations
The current collective labor agreement for health insurers runs until 1 October 2022. De Unie is in negotiations for a new collective labor agreement for health insurers. On Monday 12 September, employers and trade unions had an intercalated meeting about the new collective labor agreement and in particular wages. Employers have made a new wage offer. They offer you a structural salary increase of 3,2% for the 1e year and 2,6% for the 2e years and a one-off payment of € 200 gross in 2022. The one-off payment is for scales 1 to 10, by the way. As far as the employers are concerned, this is a two-year collective labor agreement.
Trade unions have subsequently indicated that they do not have the space to respond to this new wage offer. Inflation is simply too high for that. We have made some suggestions to employers to include in a new bid. Employers will take this into account and will come back to us on Monday 26 September. Since there is only one round of negotiations in the agenda, another additional meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, September 29.
In the meantime, we expect to learn more about the government's purchasing power plans. This may also offer opportunities to come to a new collective labor agreement.
