Care and Security: Negotiation result

July 07, 2022

On Monday 4 July I have on behalf of De Unie negotiated with Henk Gerla and Marlies Guezen of Zorg en Zekerheid about the social plan. The social plan is necessary for the reorganization of three healthcare shops into one healthcare shop in Leiden. Below you can read a short feedback about it, you will find the social plan and the members can cast their vote.

Negotiations

After the first negotiations, we have received an adjusted social plan from your employer. On Thursday 30 June, the trade unions discussed this with a delegation from the Works Council (OR) of Zorg en Zekerheid. They gave us a number of substantive points such as remaining leave, end-of-year crowds, redeployment plus and minus 1, full-time vacancies and part-time employees. These issues had come up from the employees involved. In the last round of negotiations, we settled these points with your employer to your satisfaction. We also agreed on the termination payment. This means that there is now a negotiation result on the entire social plan.

What do you think?

Members can vote until Thursday 14 July on the social plan?

We give the result the 15e July again to Zorg en Zekerheid. The Works Council then issues its advice on the reorganization and the employees involved are informed about their status and the social plan. Pretty short day but it should all work.
