What is the role of De Unie?
De Unie has consulted with NN and with GSAM about the employment conditions for the NNIP employees after the transition. This consultation will start in mid-September. De Unie would like to know the opinion of the members working at NNIP. Do you work at NNIP? Please contact me. Employment opportunities
Employment is an important issue, not only for the employees of NNIP, but also the employees of other business units of NN Group who provide services to NNIP can be concerned about this. The departure of NNIP could therefore have broader consequences. If it appears from the consultations with NN and GSAM that employment issues may arise (in due course), this will make the social plan even more important than it already is.
Works Council NNIP
The works council plays an important role. They must advise on the intended sale. I maintain regular contact with the works council of NNIP, it is important to exchange information with the works council so that we can strengthen each other's position.
