retail: De Unie close negotiation result collective agreement

De Unie reached a negotiating result with Inretail on 13 June. This concerns a six-month collective labor agreement, which runs from 1 July 2022 to 31 December 2022. The employers and the joint trade unions have opted for this variant to ensure that people can receive an increase as of 1 July 2022. This is essential because purchasing power is under pressure.

The system of the discharge increase will be maintained; this is linked to the minimum wage. Depending on the personal situation, there may be an increase of 1,81% plus 2,5% as of 1 July 2022, which amounts to an increase of 4,36% for six months. read here the specific agreements.

Salary Survey

The well-known cut will be maintained in the collective labor agreement. it by De Unie The proposed remuneration study, to investigate how and whether this cut is applied within the industry, will be carried out in the coming six months. As is known, we want to get rid of this cut.

work-life balance

In the near future, a study will also be conducted into the work-life balance. De Unie know that new generations have different requirements. As an industry, you have to respond to this. Any agreements to be made in this regard will, if appropriate, De Unie is, of course, applicable to everyone. In anticipation of this, agreements have been made about an increase in homework allowance, working in the evenings and broken shifts.

Assessment result

De Unie assesses this half-year collective labor agreement as a transition collective agreement. If we had continued the collective labor agreement negotiations to arrive at a full collective labor agreement, the employees would not have received a wage increase as of 1 July 2022. At the same time, we will immediately start working on the aforementioned studies in September to include the results in the new collective labor agreement.

We therefore present this result to the members with a positive recommendation. Members have been invited to vote. This can be done up to no later than June 23.
