The bank and the unions have reached agreement on the calculation of the public holiday leave balance. This is an important step towards a simpler scheme. Previously, the number of canceled shifts was used to calculate the balance of public holiday leave. That is now changing. From now on, the public holiday is calculated on every CLA public holiday that falls within the regular opening hours of your block. You will receive a balance of public holiday leave in proportion to your contracted hours. This new way of calculating gives you more hours of public holiday leave.

The balance of public holiday leave will be increased from 11 March. This then applies immediately for the whole of 2021, so also with retroactive effect.

Continuation

We will be discussing other aspects related to this subject (for example, whether the hours are scheduled or whether you plan the hours yourself and other practical matters) in the coming period.

Information

More substantive information will soon be available so that you can see at a glance what the new agreements mean for you. Then we will also tell you how you can still use your increased balance for Easter and King's Day.
