ABN AMRO: Collective labor agreement negotiations to start on 22 June

May 30, 2022
ABN AMRO negotiations

The collective labor agreement that we agreed at the end of last year runs until 1 July 2022. Time for new negotiations. We are curious about your input on what De Unie can propose.

Start negotiations

We would have liked to have started the collective labor agreement process earlier. The bank has always indicated that it does not want to start until after 1 July. We think that's a shame, because we could have already made some progress with the negotiations. Negotiations start on June 22.

Collective labor agreement and term

We have sent a clear signal to the bank that we want a new collective labor agreement as soon as possible. That is why we have canceled the current collective labor agreement. This does not change your current employment conditions. The pressure on the bank to start collective bargaining will only increase.

CLA proposals

Also this time we will make a proposal letter. This contains the proposals that the members would like to agree on in a new collective labor agreement. One of the topics is of course the salary increase.

We are looking for a proposal that does justice to the situation in the Netherlands, while also taking a realistic look at the future of the bank. We also think of May 5 as a fixed public holiday.

We would like to hear from you which proposals you have. You can email this before June 1 to harma.pethke@unie.nl

Continuation

With the proposals and the terms of employment policy of De Unie, together with the executives we prepare the letter of proposals for the negotiations. More negotiating dates will be announced after the summer. As soon as they are known, they will be on this page. We will keep you informed and if you have any questions, you can email to harma.pethke@unie.nl
