An ultimatum was sent to Minister Schouten (pensions) on May 1, 2024. The ministry must quickly come up with a permanent and improved scheme for people with heavy work so that they can stop working earlier. If the government leaves people with heavy work 'out in the cold', strikes will occur from May 15. The ultimatum was also issued by the VCP, the trade union to which we are affiliated.
